You might think taking nice pictures of Rome is only possible in the summer… well, I don’t think so! 🙂
We recently came home from a fantastic extended weekend trip to Rome were we of tried our best to see the most of the top tourist traps like the Colosseum, Pantheon, the St. Petri Basilica etc. Not that we managed to see it all (as you might have understood) – there’s a lot(!) to experience in Rome.
One interesting thing coming from the north is the presence of wild parrots. At a first thought you might think it is very exotic, but after talking to locals I learnt that the parrots once were kept in cages in private homes, but then in the late 1970’s and 1980 the were released into the wild and have spread ever since. Nowadays you may see them in the city parks of Rome.

Jag har aldrig tidigare varit på Island, men var nyligen där på en kort visit över en helg, men där fokus inte låg på foto. Men såklart följde kameran med, men denna gången fanns inte den tid jag annars skulle vilja ha att vänta in ljus och tillfälle.
Har du någon gång varit ute på resa eller bara en enkel promenad med en fotointresserad person vet du kanske vad jag pratar om. Den fotointresserade med kamera kan bli stående länge och bara vänta… ja, så kan det vara! Men inte denna gången.
Det blev inte jättemånga bilder, men jag vill ändå ge Dig en känsla av Island. Nästa gång jag åker, för det kommer att bli fler besök, kommer att bli lite senare på säsongen då det är lite grönare. Island var en helt fantastisk naturupplevelse! 🙂
Om Du planerar att åka till Island, försök planera resan noga med boende och mat – de är de i särklass dyraste sakerna i resebudgeten. Flyg till Island går att får till bra priser genom t ex WOW Air.
